500-year old tradition
Block printing is a 500-year-old tradition practiced in Jaipur and beyond. Artisans carve each hand-drawn motif into wood. Then, dip the blocks in rich dyes, and press them onto fabric, layer by layer. Some designs demand up to five separate block impressions, each stamped by hand with pinpoint accuracy.

PRINTED BY LALLU JI
The Talia dress was hand block printed by our Artisan Lallu Ji - he has been block printing since 32 years. He used 5 blocks, layer by layer to print the fabric for Talia dress.
